Start by icing the base layer of the cone starting with this top right corner.  Add the ice cream cone lines after the base coat has had some time to dry.

A Toy Story Birthday

No matter how much I tried to convince him to choose another theme, Drew was having a "Buzz Lightyear" (Toy Story) 3rd birthday!  I'm not sure why I waited until the day before to get on board with his plans - he's definitely got his Daddy's stubborn streak?  Thank goodness for Pinterest ideas and Amazon Prime episodes of the Good Wife to keep me company during my all night cookie fun!
I think number cookies might be a new favorite!  There may have to be some new cookie cutter purchase in the near future ;)

Teacher Appreciation Cookies

Here's the tray of cookies for the teacher luncheon at St Peters!  Another last minute cookie effort, as we were getting ready to leave for a long weekend with friends in Lake Tahoe.  Thankfully this isn't the first time I've done "school" cookies - the first time is almost always a disaster :)

Back to school mini's for the new family party (October 2013) . . . the firs time I used my new crayon cookie cutter and Sugarbelle's crayon tutorial.  And yes, I want to be Sugarbelle when I grow up!

Mini-cookie treat bags for Nick's preschool graduation (May 2013) . . .

A cookie bag gift card holder for Nick's fabulous teachers . . .

And a picture of the inspiration behind "school cookies" - my sweet Nick on his preschool graduation day wearing one of his Dad's white dress shirts backwards!  There's nothing this kid loves more than handing out treats to his friends.

Casino Cookies

Nothing like waiting til the last minute to make a huge batch of cookies!  It's a good thing the auction had the same theme as last year so I didn't have to spend too much time planning out the cookies.

Looking back at last year's cookies I wish I would have had the time to add yellow poker chips and numbers on the cookies, BUT I was super excited to use my new Kopykake projector to add STP logo cookies and playing cards to the tray!  Here is one of the trays from last year:
